KIRSTEN McCALLUM, designer/stylist

A New York City native, Kirsten received her Bachelor Degree in Studio Art from Skidmore College.  She started her post-collegiate career at Sotheby's Auction House before moving on to become the assistant to the Design Director at Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia.  In addition to learning valuable production skills, Kirsten worked closely with the editors of the lifestyle and wedding magazines to style numerous photo shoots.  Kirsten credits her time at Martha Stewart for her love of interior styling, ability to project manage and a general love of design.  In 2000, Kirsten went on to open a home accessories store, first in Hudson NY amidst all of the famed antique shops, and then eventually on the Upper East Side in New York City.  After having their first two children, she and husband Peter decided to move to Darien, CT where they currently reside with their three naughty boys and their beloved 1 year old black pug, Eliza.
